PhD researcher Petter Lövdahl received a prestigious award from the Finnish Pharmaceutical Society (Suomen farmaseuttinen yhdistys). The award is to recognize excellent master’s degree thesis work in the field of pharmacy, and only one student can receive this award from one university per year. Petter completed his MSc in Pharmacy (proviisori) from Åbo Akademi University in 2025. His thesis work was conducted in a collaboration project between the Pharmaceutical Sciences Laboratory at Åbo Akademi University and Turku PET Centre at the University of Turku, under supervision of Prof. Jessica Rosenholm and Associate Prof. Xiang-Guo Li. Petter is currently working towards his Doctor of Pharmacy (FaD) degree within the same collaboration framework. Congratulations Petter!

InFLAMES Flagship (https://inflames.utu.fi) is a large research platform for immunology research and new drug development. InFLAMES promotes the transformation of research finding into innovative medicinal products for commercialization.
